Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Becky Burton is back for her third campaign with the CU women’s soccer team..... appeared in 16 of 17 matches last fall including five starts at forward.....posted one goal and two assists for four points......only tally of the year came in the 66th minute of a 4-0 American Mideast Conference win at Shawnee State.....registered both assists in CU’s 2-1 AMC win at Point Park helping give Coach John McGillivray his 100th career win.

2008 - Appeared in 15 of the 21 matches.....posted two goals and an assist for five points.....both goals came against Grace - a 5-0 win in the second match of the season.....recorded an assist in Cedarville’s 2-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene - CU’s first-ever win against the Cougars.

High School - Garnered two letters in soccer at Danville Community High School.....earned Team MVP honors as a sophomore.....received extensive experience playing for various soccer clubs.....Westside United 90 Green Team captured Louisville Cup title in 2006.....squad advanced to the Kalamazoo Invitational finals.

Personal - Christian education major at Cedarville University.....born 11/24/89 in Houston, TX.....daughter of Larry and Shirley Burton.....has a younger sister.
