Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Carissa Van Dyck is in her final year with the Lady Jacket soccer team.....appeared in six matches with one start last fall.....registered an assist on a goal by Kaitlyn Stiles - the first of 12 CU tallies - in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) shutout win over visiting Salem International.....part of defensive squad that posted seven shutouts in 2014.....G-MAC Academic Team member for the second straight season.

2013 - Appeared in eight contests during the campaign.....notched six shots with one on goal.....added depth to defensive squad that posted 10 shutouts.....member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic Team.

2012 - Appeared in four matches with limited playing time.....tallied a goal and an assist - her first collegiate points - in CU’s 12-0 shutout over visiting Salem International.....three points tied for eighth-best on the squad.

High School - Participated in two sports at Harrisburg Christian High School.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....member of three league championship teams.....three-year all-conference performer.....scored 34 goals and added 40 assists during prep career.....honored with the NSCAA Senior Excellence Award.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....team earned two league titles.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as an early childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 3/1/94 in Greenville, SC.....daughter of James and Trecia Van Dyck....younger sister, Creslyn, is a freshman member of the CU women’s soccer team.....has another younger sister and one younger brother.
