Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Chandra Swiech is in her final season with the Lady Jacket soccer squad.....will serve as one of three captains this fall.....appeared in 15 games including 13 starts as a defender.....tallied a pair of assists for her first collegiate points - both assists coming in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win over visiting Ohio Valley.....only shot of the season was on goal.....member of a defensive unit that allowed 15 goals (.65/game) and posted eight shutouts.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014 - Appeared in 14 matches including five starts.....helped defensive efforts in posting seven shutouts during the campaign.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic Team member.

2013 - Appeared in three contests during her freshman campaign as a defender with a stellar CU defensive unit.

High School - Three-sport athlete at Jenison High School.....four-year letter winner in soccer as a defender.....earned all-district honors as a sophomore as team advanced to district finals.....two-time team captain.....four-year letter winner in cross country.....team captain during senior season.....earned Newcomer of the Year award.....also earned four letters in diving and received Academic All-America recognition.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a biology major at Cedarville University.....born 6/21/95 in Grand Rapids, MI.....daughter of Mike and Lea Swiech.....father played baseball at Huntington University (1989-92).....has two younger brothers.
