Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Former Lady Jacket soccer player Brianne Barnes has served as an assistant coach since the 2011 season.

She holds a USSF D coaching license, an NSCAA GK Level 1 license, and has attended the NCAA Women Coaches Academy.

Barnes was a member of the women’s soccer program as a goalkeeper from 2006 through 2009. The Fenton, Michigan native made seven starts during her career with a 1.66 goals against average and two shutouts with both coming against Shawnee State. She was also an NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

Barnes registered a successful four-year prep career at Lake Fenton High School. She posted 33 shutouts and earned all-state academic honors.

Barnes is a 2010 graduate of Cedarville University earning a degree in electronic media as a Dean’s Honor List student.
