Julie Stauffer

Julie Stauffer is in her second season on the Lady Jacket soccer coaching staff. She returned to the University after spending the previous two years at Highlands Christian Academy in Pompano Beach, Fla. She taught physical education and Bible courses there while also serving as the middle school girls basketball coach.

Stauffer was a four-year starter for the Lady Jacket basketball team from 2000-04. She is the school’s eighth all-time leading scorer with 1,656 points and rates third in career three-point field goals made with 214. She was a member of two American Mideast Conference championships teams and was part of the 2003-04 club that finished 35-3 as the NAIA Division II national runner-up.

Stauffer played soccer during her prep career. She participated three seasons in the Philippines at Faith Academy in Manila from which she graduated in 2000. Her junior year was spent at Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. where she helped the Bruins reach the state Final Four.

Stauffer is a 2004 CU graduate with a degree in multi-age physical education. She is single and resides in Cedarville.
