Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Krista (Watson) Mattern has been a member of the Lady Jacket coaching staff since 2006.

Mattern was a three-year player with the Jackets and was named the Team MVP as a freshman in 2002. She sat out the next season with an injury before returning to play in 2004 and 2005. She appeared in 39 career matches with 20 starts scoring four goals and two assists.

Krista is a 2006 graduate of Cedarville University with a degree in psychology. She resides in Springfield with her husband, Jason, who is a 2005 CU graduate and a former pole vaulter with the Yellow Jackets. They have two daughters: Addison Rose, 2, and Hadley Reese, born Sept. 11, 2011.
