Biography
Creslyn Van Dyck is in her fourth season with the Lady Jacket soccer squad.....will serve as one of four captains in 2018.....started all 17 games she appeared in as a midfielder last fall.....tallied one goal and two assists for four points.....registered the game-winner in CU’s 1-0 home victory over Lake Erie in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contest.....assisted on goals by Hannah Atkinson against Kentucky Wesleyan and Alyssa Maillefer versus Findlay.....attempted 30 shots with 11 on goal for a .367 shot on goal mark.....key member of defensive unit that posted eight shutouts.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2016 - Started all 17 matches she appeared in during the campaign.....CU’s second-leading scorer with three goals and a team-best eight assists for 14 points.....registered first collegiate goal in a non-conference game at the University of Findlay.....assisted on all three goals in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) 3-0 win over visiting Alderson Broaddus.....added two assists in CU’s 3-3 double-overtime verdict against G-MAC foe Kentucky Wesleyan.....11 of 23 shots during the year were on goal (.478).....tied for sixth all-time with eight assists in a single season.....tied for eighth all-time at CU with 12 career assists.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2015 - Appeared in 21 of the 22 contests including 15 starts.....registered four assists.....posted two assists in her first collegiate contest - a season-opening 5-0 non-league win against visiting Urbana.....added assists in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) victory at Ohio Valley and in a home win over G-MAC foe Kentucky Wesleyan.....attempted 18 shots with eight on goal (.444).....contributed to the defensive efforts of posting eight shutouts in the 2015 campaign.
High School - Four-year soccer player at Harrisburg Christian High School.....member of three CCAC championship teams.....two-time National Christian Schools Athletic Association (NSCAA) All-American.....NSCAA all-region in 2013.....two-time PSCA All-State recognition.....four-time all-league honoree.....recorded 72 goals and 52 assists during four years of prep action.....holds school record for career assists and most assists in a single season (21).....also a four-year basketball participant.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a social work major at Cedarville University.....born 6/6/96 in Greenville, SC.....daughter of James and Trecia Van Dyck.....older sister, Carissa, a 2016 CU grad, was a four-year member of the women’s soccer team.....also has a younger brother and a younger sister.
