Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Elise Hurley is in her fourth season with the Lady Jacket soccer squad.....one of seven players to start all 22 matches last fall.....will again serve as a team captain in 2014.....tallied three goals and three assists for a fifth-best nine points.....tallied a goal in season-opening 5-0 win at Wheeling Jesuit.....posted goals in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) wins over Davis & Elkins and Ohio Valley.....ranked fourth with 16 shots on goal.....eight career assists are tied for eighth all-time at CU.....earned G-MAC Honorable Mention recognition.

2012 - Appeared in all 19 matches including 17 starts.....team’s second-leading scorer with three goals and a team-best four assists for 10 points.....first collegiate goal was scored in CU’s 12-0 win over Salem International.....also scored another goal with an assist in SIU victory.....posted assists in wins over Wheeling Jesuit, Campbellsville and Georgetown.....named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Second Team.....All-Ohio Academic First Team.

2011 - Appeared in 11 contests including one start as a midfielder.....registered one assist during the campaign - setting up Dresden Matson on the final goal in a 6-1 win over visiting Asbury.....took four shots including two on goal while part of defensive unit that posted six shutouts during the year.

High School - Participated in three sports at Indiana Area Senior High School.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....selected to the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) all-section team.....earned team’s Offensive Player of the Year award as a senior.....tallied 11 goals during final prep season.....Team MVP honors for junior season.....named Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore.....member of the basketball squad from 2008-10.....two-year letter winner in track & field.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Allied health major at Cedarville University.....born 5/28/92 in Lafayette, IN.....daughter of Rev. Rick and Beth Hurley.....has three older sisters and one younger sister.....two older sisters, Rebecca and Emily, played soccer at Grove City.....another older sister, Rachel, was a four-year women’s basketball player and a member of the 1,000 point club at Cedarville University.....youngest sister is a sophomore member of the track & field squad at Hillsdale.
