Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Katie Wormald returns for a final season with the Cedarville women’s soccer squad.....one of 10 seniors on the 2015 roster.....appeared in 18 of the 19 contests including nine starts as a midfielder in 2014.....registered lone assist of the year on CU’s first of two goals by Grace Miorelli in a 2-1 non-conference home defeat of previously unbeaten Ashland.....helped CU defensive efforts in posting seven shutouts during the season.....attempted 14 shots with four on goal for a .286 shots on goal mark.....G-MAC Academic Team for second consecutive season.

2013 - Appeared in all 22 matches with nine starts during the campaign.....scored a goal and tallied an assist for three points.....posted first collegiate goal in CU’s 4-0 home win over Urbana.....assisted on a goal by Jacoby Ziegler during an 8-0 Homecoming victory against Ohio Mid-Western.....six of eight shots were on goal for a .750 shots on goal percentage.....steady midfield play contributed to the Lady Jackets’ 10 shutouts during the season.....member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic Team.

2012 - Appeared in 12 of the 19 matches.....gained valuable experience in the midfield position.....helped CU defensive unit post five shut outs during the campaign.

High School - Homeschool graduate.....earned four letters in soccer playing with Leesburg Christian School.....named MVP of the 2012 Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS) Tournament.....four-year ODACS All-Tournament performer.....has club experience with the Loudoun Impact - a Division I team in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS).....also participated in track & field for two seasons.....member of the 2012 ODACS conference championship team.....placed first in the 400 meters and 800 meters at the 2012 ODACS state championship meet.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a business management major at Cedarville University.....born 2/17/94 in Fairfax, VA.....daughter of Ed and Patricia Wormald.....has an older sister.....also has three younger brothers and a younger sister.
