Biography
Kelly Wise returns to the Lady Jacket soccer team for her final season of competition after missing the entire 2009 campaign due to a knee injury.....will serve as one of three captains this fall.....hoping for a full recovery which immediately adds offensive scoring power to the CU attack.....ranks fourth all-time in goals scored (21), fifth in shots on goal (63) and sixth in points (46).
2008 - Appeared in 15 contests including 14 starts..... suffered a re-injury to her knee in CU’s 1-1 double overtime tie at Daemen on October 18.....still finished as the squad’s leading scorer with 14 goals and an assist for 29 points .....14 goals in a single season ties for second all-time at CU.....tied a school record with four goals in a game in CU’s 8-2 league win over Malone.....netted Cedarville’s only goal in losses to NAIA #16 Indiana Wesleyan and AMC foe Walsh .....scored a pair of goals in wins versus Taylor, Carlow and Shawnee State.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....American Mideast Conference Second Team honoree.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete .....voted Team MVP for second consecutive season.
2007 - Appeared in 13 matches with 11 starts at forward after recovering from an early-season injury.....team’s second-leading scorer with six goals and two assists for 14 points.....registered two goals and an assist in a 4-0 AMC South win over Rio Grande......earned American Mideast Conference South Division Second Team honors.....voted Team MVP.
2006 - Appeared in 16 matches with two starts.....tallied a goal and an assist for three points....recorded her first collegiate goal in a 2-1 loss against AMC South Division opponent Malone.
High School - Completed a three-sport career at Governor Mifflin High School.... four-year letter winner in soccer.....played in the Senior All-Star game.....registered 17 goals and 32 assists in her high school career......member of the Berks All-Division I Team for junior and senior campaigns.....earned Berks Honorable Mention as a freshman and sophomore.....garnered two letters in field hockey and one in basketball.....class president during 9th, 10th and 12th grades.....honored as Outstanding Female Athlete and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Female Athlete of the Year for her senior season.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a multi-age physical education major at Cedarville University.....born 2/21/88 in Reading, PA.....daughter of Dave and Peggy Wise.....has two older brothers.....older sister, Jill, played field hockey at Washington & Jefferson and was a swimmer at Millersville University.
