Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Rachel Brownfield returns for her fourth campaign with the Lady Jackets and again will be joined by her twin sister, Sarah.....will serve as a co-captain this season.....started all 17 matches in which she appeared.....tied for third in scoring with four goals and an assist for nine points.....final goal of the campaign came just 29 seconds into the second overtime giving CU a 1-0 American Mideast Conference victory at Mount Vernon Nazarene - locking up an AMC Tournament berth for the Lady Jackets.....also produced tallies against Rio Grande, Indiana Wesleyan and Point Park.....second-most shots on goal with 22......Team MVP.....AMC Honorable Mention.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2009 - Appeared in all 17 matches including 10 starts.....scored two goals with one assist for five points.....ranked fourth on the team scoring charts.....posted her first goal of the season in a 4-0 non-conference victory at Campbellsville.....registered CU’s only goal in a 5-1 non-league setback at NAIA #23 Ohio Dominican.....lone assist of the year came in a 4-0 American Mideast Conference win at Shawnee State.

2008 - Appeared in all 21 matches.....team’s fourth-leading scorer with three goals and two assists for eight points.....netted first collegiate goal in the 66th minute of an 8-2 AMC victory over Malone.....also registered her first collegiate assist in the Malone contest..... helped CU to their first-ever victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene with a goal in the 79th minute.....found the net for the third-consecutive match - a 3-0 AMC victory at Ursuline.... added an assist in the Lady Jackets 4-1 loss at Spring Arbor in the NCCAA Midwest Region championship.

High School - Three-year letter winner at Hilliard Darby High School.....squad earned consecutive Ohio Capital Conference titles in 2006 and 2007.....named to the All-Ohio Capital Conference Second Team as a junior......earned team’s Most Improved Player Award.....National Honor Society student.....earned Scholar Athlete Award.
