Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Sarah Meisel is in her third season with the Cedarville Lady Jacket soccer team.....appeared in 15 of the 18 contests last fall including one start as a defender.....fired off three shots including two on goal.....member of a defensive unit that recorded six shutouts in 2016.

2015 - Appeared in seven matches with two starts.....helped CU defensive efforts in allowing opponents .65 goals per game and posting nine shutouts.

High School - Three-year soccer performer at Mechanicville High School.....team captain and Wasaren League second team selection in 2014.....named to the 2013 Colonial Council All-Star Third Team.....tallied 18 goals with 19 assists during prep career.....four-year indoor/outdoor track & field performer.....holds three school records in indoor track - 45 meters, 600 meters and the distance medley relay.....holds school records in outdoor track including 400 meter hurdles, 2000 meter steeplechase and several relay events.....also participated in cross country.....Principal Scholar-Athlete Award in soccer and track & field.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Visual communication design major at Cedarville University.....born 7/18/97 in Schenectady, NY.....daughter of Peter and Kim Meisel.....has an older sister.
