Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Chelsea Diamond is in her second season with the CU women’s tennis program.....recorded a 4-3 mark in singles and a 12-8 tally in doubles.....won at #2 singles by scores of 6-1, 6-0 in a 9-0 match at Shawnee State.....posted wins at #4 singles at Shawnee State and against Ursuline.....closed out fall season with a 6-1, 6-1 victory in the #6 singles position at Georgetown.....compiled a 13-11 overall mark in doubles play during the 2011-12 campaign.....registered a 12-8 record with classmate Maryssa Herbert - 1-0 at #2 doubles and 11-8 at #3 doubles.....an 8-1 decision at #3 doubles with Herbert helped the Lady Jackets post a 5-1 win over Emmanuel at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.....also played three matches last fall paired with fellow rookie Colleen Browning in the #3 doubles position.

High School - Three-year letter winner in tennis at Northwestern High School.....member of the 2010 Central Buckeye Conference championship squad.....posted a 17-1 singles record as a senior.....Miami Valley Tennis Coaches Association All-Area honorable mention.....2010 Springfield News-Sun All-Area and All-Clark County Second Team.....All-CBC First Team recognition.....2010 Rae Burick “Women in Sports” honoree.....two-time All-CBC Special Mention.....completed prep career with a 51-10 singles/doubles record.....National Honor Society student.
