Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Carolyn Cann is in her final campaign with the Cedarville University women’s track & field squad.....will again participate as a middle distance runner, hurdler and high jumper this spring.....tied for a fifth-best 30 indoor individual points.....captured the 600 meter run at the Cedarville Collegiate Open with a 1:42.82 performance.....finished fourth in the pentathlon with 2,734 points at the NCAA Division II Challenge.....totaled 25 points during the 2011 outdoor campaign.....earned NCCAA Outdoor All-America honors in the heptathlon......placed second in the event with 3,924 points.....produced a fifth-place finish in the high jump with a 4-09.00 effort at the American Mideast Conference championship.....placed fifth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.66 at the Yellow Jacket Outdoor Open.

2009-10 - Scored seven points during the 2010 outdoor campaign.....best finish in track & field was fifth in the 400 meter hurdles at the Yellow Jacket Outdoor Open with a time of 1:09.19.....placed sixth in the high jump at the American Mideast Conference Championship with a 4-07.75 performance......also participated in the 200 and 400 meter events.....ran in three varsity cross country meets in 2009.....best time of the season was a 20:48 effort at the Friendship Invitational.

2008-09 - NCCAA Indoor Champion in both the 800 meters and the 4 x 400 meter relay squad to earn All-America honors.....placed second in the prelims of the 600 meters at the NAIA Indoor Championship with a season-best time of 1:38.06.....participated in the high jump at three indoor meets.....earned NCCAA Outdoor All-America recognition in the 400 meter hurdles with a 1:06.52 performance.....part of the AMC Championship 4 x 800 meter relay quartet that earned All-AMC First Team honors.....placed second in the high jump at the AMC meet with a 4-11.75 performance.....ran in seven cross country meets for the NAIA national runner-up Lady Jackets.....produced a season-best 19:30 effort at the Aquinas Invitational.....finished eighth overall at the Cedarville Open with a 19:45 performance.

High School - Graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School after competing for the Wolves as a junior and senior.....earned All-Ohio Capital Conference honors in track and cross country her final two seasons.....holds school record in the high jump.....attended Tempe Preparatory Academy in Arizona as a freshman and sophomore.....member of two-time state Class A track & field champions.....won the 800 meter state title as a freshman and then copped 800; 1,600; and 3,200 meter crowns as a sophomore.....set school record in all three running events as well as the high jump.....played three years of high school basketball with two letters.....Scholar-Athlete.
