Gabby Johnson is in her third year as a distance runner with the Lady Jackets.....participated in three cross country meets this past fall.....CU’s ninth-place finisher at the season-opening Queen City Invitational with a 5K effort of 19:46.....registered a 25:22 (6K) in the All-Ohio Championships and a 25:45 (6K) at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2016-17 - Member of the distance medley relay squad that placed third at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Championships with a 13:07.87 performance.....finished 12th in the mile at the G-MAC Indoor Championships with a season-best 5:40.97.....produced a third-place finish in the 5,000 meters (19:01.09) at the Hanover Outdoor Invitational.....placed seventh in the 10,000 meters at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships with a 40:53.29 effort.....G-MAC Indoor Third Team.....G-MAC Academic Team.....ran in the first five cross country meets of the campaign.....best 6K performance was career-best 24:17 at the season-opening Queen City Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio.....ran a 20:29 on the 5K layout of CU’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course at the Friendship Invitational.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015-16 - Placed fifth in the mile run (5:40.70) at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Championship.....finished sixth in the 1,500 meters at the G-MAC Outdoor Championship with a 5:02.40 effort.....produced a 19:22.73 effort in the 5,000 meters to place third at the Wilmington Invitational.....named to the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Freshmen Team.....appeared in four cross country meets.....posted a 20:44 effort in the 5K Evansville Invitational.....ran 25:00 (6K) in the All-Ohio Championship at CU’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

High School - Homeschool graduate.....picked up four letters in track & field at Massabesic High School.....established PR’s of 5:30 in the 1,600 and 11:46 in the 3,200.....earned four cross country letters.....achieved all-state honors in 2013.....four-time all-conference performer.....qualified four times for the New England Cross Country Championships.....best cross country 5K was 19:40.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 11/19/96 in Biddeford, ME.....daughter of Steven and Sheryl Johnson.....has four older brothers, one older sister, one younger brother, and a younger sister.
