Biography

Hannah (Lamos) Brooker is a fourth-year distance runner with the Lady Jackets.....did not run in any cross country meets this past fall due to injury.

2011-12 - Participated in the 2012 indoor season only.....coasted to victory in the 3,000 meters with a 10:27.89 effort at the season-opening Indiana Wesleyan Classic.....produced a third-place finish in the 3K at the Indiana University Hoosier Hills meet with a 10:21.45 outing.....the National Christian College Athletic Association 5,000 meter (18:16.54) champion to earn All-America honors.....placed third in the 5K at the Youngstown State University Invitational with a time of 18:10.00.....earned a fifth-place spot in the mile (5:19.81) at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational..... NCCAA Indoor Scholar-Athlete.....was CU’s top finisher in all six cross country meets.....won the NCCAA women’s cross country individual championship with a career-best effort of 18:29 to garner NCCAA All-America honors......nabbed the individual title of the Friendship Invitational with an 18:45 performance......posted runner-up finishes at the season-opening Dayton Challenge (19:09) and the Ohio Independent Championship (19:37).....earned NCCAA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

2010-11 - Captured the indoor 3,000 meter event with a time of 18:30.81 at the Findlay Division II Challenge.....placed third in the mile (5:24.99) at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.....posted 30 individual outdoor points in the spring season.....earned NCCAA All-America accolades in the 10,000 meters for a third-place time of 38:12.38.....finished second in the 10,000 meters at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open (38:35.59).....placed fourth in the 10,000 meters at the American Mideast Conference Championship.....posted a time of 38:44.56 in the 10K for at the NAIA National Championshipcompeted in seven of the eight cross country meets for the CU squad that finished 10th at the NAIA National Championship.....produced a career-best time of 18:36 at the Walsh-Malone Invitational to finish eighth of 91 runners.....placed 13th at the American Mideast Conference Championship with an 18:39 performance to earn All-AMC Second Team recognition.....Cedarville’s third-fastest finisher at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship posting a time of 19:08.

2009-10 - Competed in the distance events for the track & field team.....NAIA qualifier in the indoor distance medley relay and outdoor 4 x 800.....ran in the #7 position for squad that placed 6th in the NAIA and won the NCCAA.....saw action in seven of eight varsity meets.....posted a season-best time in the 5K of 19:33 in the Friendship Invitational to place 18th out of 181 runners.....made collegiate debut with an 8th-place showing at Shawnee State in 19:50.....finished 52nd at Aquinas in 19:53.....placed 36th of 134 at the NCCAA Nationals in 20:03.

High School - Graduated from Long Lake Central School, but ran on the track her senior year for Tupper Lake Central.....earned all-conference second team honors..... qualified for the New York state championship in the 3,000 meters.....played four years of soccer and basketball as well as one season of softball at LLCS.....two-time All-Mountain Valley Athletic Conference soccer player.....named the LLCS Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a social work major at Cedarville University.....born 3/16/91 in Saratoga, NY.....daughter of David and Grecia Lamos.....married Yellow Jacket distance runner Matt Brooker on Dec. 15, 2012.....has one older brother, three older sisters, and a younger brother.
