Biography
Johanna Ensslen returns to the CU women’s track & field squad as a sprinter.....sat out the 2009 season.
2008 - Placed third in the 100 meter dash (13.51) and fifth in the 200 meters (28.43) at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Open.....member of the 4 x 200 meter relay squad that captured the 2008 NCCAA Indoor title with a 1:48.28 effort.....also part of the distance medley quartet that finished fifth at the NCCAA Indoor Championsip.....ran with CU’s 4 x 200 meter relay squad that won the Ohio Northern Indoor Challenge (1:48.93).....placed seventh in the 200 meters at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.
High School - Produced a four-year track career at Downington West High School.....specialized in the 100 meters, 200 meters and the 4 x 100 meter relay squad.....high school team placed third in 2007 and fourth in 2006 at the Chestmont Championships.....member of the all-district 4 x 400 relay team and the Penn Relays 4 x 100 relay squad during senior season.....National Honor Society Student.
Personal - Nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 8/7/88 in Glenmoore, PA.....daughter of William and Suzanne Ensslen.....has two older brothers and an older sister, Sarah, who was an NAIA All-American and NAIA triple jump champion as a four-year member of the Cedarville women’s track program.
