CAREER STATS
Kacy Dunn is in her final season as a distance runner with the Lady Jackets.....participated in six of the eight cross country meets this past fall.....served as one of the team captains......produced a new PR of 23:40 in the 6K at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational.....CU’s second-fastest runner at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship in Clinton, Mississippi with a career-best 18:57 outing over the 5K layout.
2015-16 - Registered 34 individual points during the outdoor campaign while participating in the 800 meters and 1,500 meters.....earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor (G-MAC) Third Team recognition on the track in the mile run.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.....participated in six cross country meets.....placed 26th of 108 runners at the Evansville Invitational with a season-best time of 19:19 over the 5K course.....set a 6K season-best of 24:07 in the All-Ohio Championships at CU’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.....placed 21st in the G-MAC Championship in 25:20.
2014-15 - NCCAA Outdoor All-American on the track as part of the runner-up 4 x 800 meter relay squad.....G-MAC Indoor First Team performer with a first place in the distance medley.....outdoor 1,500 runner-up for G-MAC Second Team accolades.....G-MAC Academic Team....served as one of the team captains.....ran in four meets as a sophomore.....placed 28th in the G-MAC Championship in 24:57 for the 6K.
2013-14 - Distance runner on the track team.....appeared in six varsity cross country meets as a freshman.....All-G-MAC Second Team performer.....placed 15th in the conference meet in 24:32 for the 6K.....posted a season-best mark of 24:20 at the Division II Midwest Regional.....finished 53rd of 227 runners in the NCCAA Championship in 19:46 for the 5K as CU’s #4 finisher.
High School - Earned four letters in track & field at Kings High School.....four-year letter winner in cross country.....Most Valuable Runner as a senior and was team captain.....member of 2010 conference championship program that also qualified for the state two times.....individual regional qualifier as a junior with the 9th-fastest time in school history.....Academic All-Ohio..... graduated with academic honors.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an applied communications major at Cedarville University.....born 7/6/94 in West Lafayette, IN.....daughter of Rev. Jim and Brenda Dunn.....has two older brothers.
