CAREER STATS

Makayla Cook is in her second year with the Lady Jacket track & field team.....scored nine individual points during the indoor season.....placed third in the long jump at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Championship with a season-best 16-3.25 effort.....best performance of the season in the 200 meters was a 28.94 at the Grand Valley State Big Meet.....did not participate in the 2016 spring outdoor season due to an ACL injury.....member of the G-MAC Indoor Third Team and the G-MAC Indoor Freshmen Team.

High School - Produced a three-sport career at Northpointe Christian High School....four-year letter winner in track & field.....all-state honoree.....three-time all-region performer.....four-year all-conference recognition.....earned Mustang Coaches Award.....personal bests include 16-6 in the long jump, 4-10 in the high jump and 13.18 seconds in the 100 meters.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....all-conference honoree.....also a three-year letter winner in volleyball.....academic all-state recognition.....earned Women’s Athlete of the Year at Northpointe Christian.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 1/19/97 in Grand Rapids, MI.....daughter of Scott and Kendra Cook.....has a younger sister and younger brother.
