Mary Kearney is a fourth-year distance runner at Cedarville.....competed in six of the eight cross country meets during the 2016 campaign.....fastest 5K time was a career-best 19:37 at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship in Clinton, Mississippi.....placed 28th of 172 runners at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational with a 23:56 performance over the 6K layout.

2015-16 - Competed in the 5K during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....posted an indoor best time of 20:17.35 at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Championship.....placed 7th (20:31.57) at the Yellow Jacket Outdoor Open.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.....participated in three of the seven cross country meets.....registered a 20:16 performance in the 5K Friendship Invitational at CU’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2014-15 - Distance runner during the track & field season.....G-MAC Indoor Second Team as the 5,000 meter runner-up.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.....saw limited action as a freshman in three cross country meets.....placed 22nd in the G-MAC Championship in 24:27 for the 6K.....posted a 5K time of 20:30 to finish 22nd in the Cedarville Open.

2013-14 - Competed in the distance events on the track team....participated in five varsity meets as a freshman and finished among the team’s top seven four times.....best 6K mark was 25:38 in the Friendship Invitational.

High School - Competed three seasons in track & field at Marquette High School.....participated in cross country four years.....earned the team’s Most Improved Runner Award.....two year participant in basketball.....graduated with academic honors.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as an electrical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/21/94 in Richmond, VA.....daughter of David and Gayle Kearney.....has two older brothers.
