Michaela Nelson is in her fourth season as a sprinter with the Cedarville University women’s track & field squad.....best indoor 400 meter performance was a 1:00.85 for a fifth-place spot in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Championship.....also placed fifth in the 400 meters (1:02.66) at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.....tallied 22 individual points during the outdoor campaign.....recorded a season-best time of 27.63 in the 200 meters at the Yellow Jacket Open.....member of the 4 x 400 meter squad that captured first at the G-MAC Outdoor Championship with a time of 4:05.19.....best 400 meter effort of the outdoor season was 1:01.12 and a third-place finish at the Yellow Jacket Open.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor All-American.....G-MAC Outdoor First Team.

2015 - Posted a 44.04 effort - eighth-best all-time at CU - in the 300 meter dash at the non-scoring Tiffin Indoor Open.....did not participate in the outdoor season due to injury.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014 - Participated in five outdoor meets during the campaign.....season-best performance in the 400 meters was a 1:00.23 effort at the Miami University RedHawk Invitational.....placed sixth at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships with a time of 1:01.56 in the 400 meter event.....recorded a 28.67 in the 200 meter prelims at the G-MAC Championship

High School - Four-year letter winner at Xenia Christian High School.....three-year all-conference performer.....earned four letters in basketball.....earned All-Ohio Third Team recognition as a senior.....four-year all-league honors.....second player in school history to reach 1,000 career points.....four-year letter winner in volleyball.....three-time all-conference honoree.....earned a letter in both cross country and soccer.....National Honor Society student.
