Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Rachel McKinley begins her second year with the Lady Jacket track & field team as a distance runner.....competed in two cross country meets this past fall in her initial campaign with the CU women’s squad.....finished eighth of 128 runners at the Friendship Invitational with a time of 19:18.....posted a 20:37 effort at the season-opening Dayton Challenge.

2012 - Earned a fourth-place position in the mile at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational with an indoor best effort of 5:17.96 early in the 2012 campaign.....placed sixth (5:20.49) in the mile at the National Christian College Athletic Association Indoor Championship.....tallied an outdoor-best effort of 4:57.33 in the 1,500 meters to finish tenth at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship.....placed fifth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:02 as CU captured the Ohio Independent Championship.

High School - Produced a two-sport career at Clear Fork High School.....three-year letter winner in track.....three-time regional qualifier.....three-year letter winner in soccer.....earned All-Ohio honorable mention in 2010.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a philosophy major at Cedarville University.....born 2/24/93 in Muncie, IN.....daughter of Steve and Ann McKinley.....older brother, Todd, is a junior member of the CU men’s soccer team....also has two younger sisters and two younger brothers.
