Samantha Reece is a third-year member of the Lady Jacket track & field squad as a sprinter.....did not participate in the 2016 indoor season.....placed third in the 100 meters at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Championship with a season-best 12.88 effort.....G-MAC Outdoor Third Team.

2015 - Did not participate in the outdoor season.....added 13 individual points during the indoor campaign last year.....best-effort in the 55 meter dash was a 7.65 in the prelims of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Championship held in CU’s Doden Field House.....recorded an 8.16 performance to place third in the 60 meter dash at the Ohio Northern Invitational.....a 28.32 effort in the 200 meters garnered a sixth-place finish at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.

High School - Two-sport athlete at Arcola High School.....four-year track & field letter winner.....member of four Little Okaw Valley Conference (LOVC) championship teams.....all-conference performer.....named to the News-Gazette, Journal Gazette and News Courier Runners’ Honor Roll.....Pride, Hustle and Desire Award winner.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....2014 regional, sectional and conference champions.....All-LOVC performer.....East vs West All-Star Game participant.....played in the Gussy Dale All-Star Game.....three-time Most Improved Player honoree.....named Arcola High School 2014 Outstanding Female Athlete.....class Valedictorian.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as an integrated language arts major at Cedarville University.....born 10/18/95 in Lafayette, IN.....daughter of Rev. Casey and Misty Reece.....has two older brothers - second-oldest, Austin, was a freshman member of the 2015 CU men’s track & field team....has four younger brothers and two younger sisters.
