Andrew Heath

Andrew Heath was named Cedarville University’s first Esports head coach in July 2025.
 
He is a lifelong video game competitor who possesses a passion for the Esports community.
 
Heath returned to his alma mater as Director of Events and Facilities during the 2023-24 academic year.
 
He is responsible for the Callan Athletic Center equipment room, all athletic events on campus, indoor athletic facilities, and coordinating with the outdoor facilities supervisor.
 
He came back to the University after serving as Operations Manager for the Oak View Group directing events at the UPMC Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. for most of 2023.
 
Heath was the Assistant Director of Events and Facilities at Cedarville as a graduate assistant for two academic years from 2021 through 2023.
 
He also did an internship and practicum in the Athletic Department for three years as an undergraduate student.
 
Heath is a native of Gaines, Michigan where he was a three-sport athlete at Genesee Christian High School. He was part of a boys’ soccer program that posted a 28-0 record in his senior season and was the MHSAA Division IV state champion.
 
Heath is a 2020 graduate from Cedarville with a degree in sport business management. He earned his MBA from the University in 2023.
 
Andrew and his wife, Emma, who is CU’s Assistant Director of Christian School Partnerships, reside in Fairborn with their son, Isaac, who was born on May 11, 2025.
