Makenna Fee is the Assistant Sports Information Director and Special Events Coordinator beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.
She joins the Yellow Jackets’ staff full time after serving as the school’s first-ever Sports Information Graduate Assistant in 2024-25.
As Assistant SID and Special Events Coordinator, Fee will oversee media relations, assist with game-day operations, coordinate press releases, and support departmental special events, including award ceremonies, fan experiences, and outreach activities.
A 2023 graduate of the University, she earned a degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing a master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship which she is scheduled to complete in August, 2025.
Fee gained valuable experience in multiple areas as a GA including managing the Jackets’ social media operation and she was the primary statistician for women’s volleyball.
She was the lead statistician for the Division I A-10 Volleyball Championship match hosted by the University of Dayton and later served as a media room assistant during the First Four at UD Arena.
The Seymour, Indiana native was a member of the CU women’s basketball team from 2021-2024. In her three seasons with the Lady Jackets, Fee battled through injuries, appearing in 33 career games with 28 starts, totaling 225 points and 133 rebounds, and shooting an impressive .875 from the free throw line.
Prior to her time at Cedarville, Fee played two seasons at the University of Illinois Springfield, appearing in 47 games.
She was a four-year letter winner in both basketball and volleyball at Seymour High School, earning the 2019 Jackson County Basketball Player of the Year honor following her senior year.
