Dr. Randy McKinion has served as the University's Faculty Athletic Representative since the beginning of the 2024-25 academic year.
He arrived at Cedarville University in 2014 where he serves in the School of Biblical and Theological Studies.
Dr. McKinion teaches courses in the Pentateuch, the Writings, Old Testament Literature, and Preaching. During his undergraduate years, he was a student-athlete, playing three years of baseball at the University of South Alabama and one year at Spring Hill College.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary, and a PhD from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Randy and his wife, April, reside in Cedarville and have three children.
