Two Jackets All-AMC; Hostetter earns scholar honors
CEDARVILLE, Ohio (5-24-2007) - Jake Bezeck and Dan Ballard have been voted to the All-American Mideast Conference Team for the 2007 campaign while Derek Hostetter achieved NAIA and AMC Scholar-Athlete recognition.
Bezeck was selected All-AMC in both singles and doubles. He had a 10-9 mark at #1 singles and finished his career with a 43-27 slate. Ballard joined Bezeck for All-AMC honors in doubles after the tandem registered a 14-5 record. [ALL-AMC TEAM]
Hostetter earned a spot on the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team as well as the AMC Scholar-Athlete unit. Both programs recognize juniors and seniors, who maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. [NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETES and AMC SCHOLAR-ATHLETES]

Three Jackets honored by NCCAA
CEDARVILLE, Ohio (5-10-2007) - Jake Bezeck, Dan Ballard, and Derek Hostetter have all been recognized by the National Christian College Athletic Association for their efforts during the 2007 season.
Bezeck was named to the All-America First Team in singles and to the Second Team in doubles along with Ballard, who was also a Second Team choice in singles. Hostetter was tabbed an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete which honors juniors and seniors, who maintain a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average. He was also one of 12 players chosen as an NCCAA Ministry Athlete. [NCCAA AWARDS]

Jackets end season with 5-2 setback
GREER, S.C. (5-9-2007) - Oklahoma Wesleyan brought the Cedarville tennis season to a close with a 5-2 victory over the Yellow Jackets during pool play at the NCCAA National Tournament. CU finishes the campaign at 11-9 overall.
Dan Ballard played a part in both points for the Jackets. He teamed up with Jake Bezeck for an 8-1 victory at #1 doubles. Ballard later posted a 6-2, 6-3 decision at #2 singles. [RESULTS]
