Bobbie Jones

Bobbie Jones is in her second season on the Lady Jacket volleyball staff as an assistant coach. She returned to her alma mater with 25 years of high school coaching experience.

Jones most recently was the head girls volleyball coach at Cedarville High School from 1999 through 2006. She spent 16 seasons at Orange Christian Academy near Cleveland from 1983 through 1998 where her teams won six ACSI state championships. She began her career coaching one season at Wayside Christian Academy in Maine.

Jones, who is a 1979 graduate of Cedarville College, has been a physical education teacher at Xenia Nazarene Christian School since 2001. She stepped in to coach the junior high girls volleyball squad to an ACSI state title in 2007.

Bobbie and her husband, Bill, who is also a graduate of Cedarville and is an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University, reside in Cedarville. They have two children: a daughter, Kelsey, a 2006 CU graduate and former NAIA All-America volleyball player with the Lady Jackets, is the girls volleyball coach at Cedarville High School; and a son, Colin, who resides in Cedarville with his wife, Hillary, and their daughter, Maylene, born January 22, 2009.
