CU moves up in NAIA poll

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets inched up to position to #7 in the seventh NAIA Women’s Cross Country Top 25 Coaches’ Poll of the fall.

Cedarville has a total of 544 points. The Jackets made the most of winning the 21-team NAIA Great Lakes Invitational hosted by Aquinas (Mich.) last weekend.

Remaining in the top spot is defending national champion Azusa Pacific (Calif.). Rounding out the top five are California State-San Marcos, Simon Fraser (B.C.), Biola (Calif.), and American Mideast Conference member Malone.

Cedarville is off this weekend, but will be on the home course the following two Saturdays. The Lady Jackets host the American Mideast Conference Championship on Nov. 7 and the NCCAA Championship on Nov. 14.
