CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville junior Kylee Husak has been voted to the All-American Mideast Conference First Team for the 2009 women's volleyball season. It's the second straight year that she has been selected to the top unit.
Husak, a 6-foot-1 middle hitter from Mount Vernon, Iowa, played in all 150 sets for the 15-23 Lady Jackets. She led the squad with 3.19 kills and 1.09 blocks per set.
Emily Shade earned a spot on the All-AMC Second Team. The 5-9 senior outside hitter from Greenville, Ohio averaged 2.98 kills and completed her career with 1,456 kills to rank ninth on CU's all-time list.
First-year players Erica Bartholomew and Heather Kirkpatrick were All-AMC honorable mention. Bartholomew also locked down a spot on the eight-player All-AMC Freshmen Team.
