CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Members of the Lady Jacket track & field team took their last crack at NAIA outdoor qualifying marks during the Cedarville Challenge.
Freshman sprinter Alexa Winik won the 400 meter dash in 57.31 seconds. The performance matched the mark she turned in last month at the University of Cincinnati's Southern Ohio Cup. The time, which meets the NAIA qualifying standard, is the sixth-fastest in school history.
Rookie Kelsey Watkins was a provisional qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles. She turned in a season-best time of 15.08 seconds.
Shot put school record holder Sarah Hannay unloaded the fourth-best heave in the program's history with a mark of 37-feet 3.75-inches. She set the record of 39-5 earlier in the season during the Cedarville Open. [COMPLETE RESULTS]
