CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Platte Valley High School (CO) senior Meghan Creech recently signed a letter of intent to play softball at Cedarville University. As a catcher for the Broncos, Creech helped lead her team to the state tournament finishing the season with an 11-10 record.
Creech is a three-year letter winner and two-year captain at Platte Valley. Her squad captured two district titles and is a four-time state tournament qualifier. She earned Patriot League all-conference recognition as a sophomore.
Cedarville University head coach
Wes Rowe summarized the importance of adding Creech to his squad. “Meghan is a young lady who loves the Lord and has a deep desire to attend Cedarville University. Catchers are a premium in any program and quality catchers are more difficult to recruit than pitchers. Meghan has worked hard to make herself into a quality defensive catcher. She will compete for playing time even as a freshman. I am happy she has chosen to play for us!”
Creech, the daughter of Tom and Tonya Creech of Gill, Colorado, plans to study forensics and chemistry at Cedarville.
