CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Kevin Furst has been voted to the All-American Mideast Conference Team while Caleb Speicher picked up scholar-athlete recognition following the 2009 men's tennis season.
Furst, a senior from Appleton, Wis., was one of 12 players chosen to the All-AMC Team. He was recognized in singles after winning six matches at the Jackets' #1 position.
Speicher, a junior philosophy major from Marysville, Ohio, was honored as an NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete. NAIA scholars are juniors and seniors who maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The NCCAA minimum is 3.40.
