CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Brigham Michaud became just the third golfer in Yellow Jacket history to earn NCCAA All-America honors to secure the No. 10 spot on Cedarville's Top 10 individual performances of the 2011-12 season.
Michaud, a senior from Topsham, Maine, accomplished the feat at the NCCAA Championship on Oct. 24-26, 2011 in Panama City Beach, Fla. The 54-hole tournament was played on the par-72, 6,831-yard The Hombre Golf Club.
Michaud carded rounds of 75-72-74 for a five-over par 221 total to place 8th overall. The Top 10 finishers and ties are All-Americans.
Michaud joined Scott Aker (2006, 2007) and Trevor Bowman (2009) as Cedarville's only NCCAA All-Americans in men's golf. He finished his career with a 77.44 scoring average per 18 holes which ties for 6th on CU's all-time list.
