Kelsey Wilson: All-American for third time

Chapman named NCCAA Scholar-Athlete

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Lady Jacket outfielder Kelsey Wilson is an NCCAA Division I Softball All-American for the third consecutive year.

The junior outfielder from Bloomington, Ill. was named to the 15-member second team. No other CU player has ever been named an NCCAA All-American more than once.

Wilson topped Cedarville for the third consecutive year in hitting with a .435 batting average. She totaled 54 hits in 124 at bats with seven doubles, three home runs, and 27 RBI's.

Wilson led the club in on base percentage (.507) and slugging percentage (.565). She stole 29-of-30 bases.

In her previous two seasons, Wilson was chosen for the NCCAA All-America First Team. She was the 2012 National Player of the Year.

Kelsey Chapman, a junior from Townsend, Del., was recognized as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete. The list includes juniors and seniors, who maintain a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
