Carly Gregory (2nd from left)Quotable: Head Coach
John McGillivray"What a game! We started a little slow, but as we settled in we took control of midfield. Carly's goal with less than 30 seconds in the half gave us momentum going into half time.
"Ursuline came out strong in the second half and we struggled to possess the ball and did a lot of chasing. Again, the back four and Hanna kept us in the game.
"With less than five minutes to go, we nearly scored a second goal. In the last three minutes or so, Ursuline threw every one forward and we struggled to get the ball out of our defensive half.
"I'm so proud of how the girls played these three playoff games. I'm especially happy for the seniors. When they were sophomores, they expected to win the G-MAC tournament but lost to Ursuline in the semifinals.
"These girls love each other and the Lord, and I am blessed to be their coach. We're looking forward to finding out who our NCAA opponent will be and where we will be playing."
Numbers Game:- Gregory's goal was the 9th of her career.
