CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville University has recently signed with SuperFanU, a leading fan loyalty and engagement company, to launch a new mobile app that will allow fans to earn points based on events and activities that they attend and 'check-in' to.
The points can then be used to earn prizes and exclusive experiences from Cedarville University.
The app provides other information for fans including athletic team schedules, school news and an opportunity to share photos through a 'fan cam.'
Yellow Jacket fans can get to know student-athletes through the Rosters app as well as give feedback and answer trivia questions in the FanPoll module.
CUJackets can be downloaded for free at either the Apple iTunes or Google Play online stores.
"We are really excited about launching this new app with our students, fans and followers," says
Stephanie Zonars, Assistant AD for Marketing & Sponsorships and Senior Woman Administrator.
"It allows us to engage and activate our fans even further at games and events throughout the year. And, the best part is that it rewards our fans for supporting Cedarville University."
Cedarville University selected SuperFanU as its loyalty program partner because of its diverse experience with numerous DI, DII, and DIII colleges and universities across the country. The company is leading the market in developing innovative platforms that allow the communication and marketing between fans and schools to be more engaging and efficient.
"We know that our partnership with Cedarville University will yield lots of excitement this year," says Kayla Mount, Co-Founder and COO of SuperFanU.
"The fan experience is so important to engaging students, alumni and fans, so we look forward to great collaboration with lots of fun outcomes in the near future."
