Box Score 3 XENIA, Ohio - Trevecca Nazarene copped its fourth straight G-MAC Softball Championship with a 4-0 result over the Lady Jackets at the AIA Sports Complex.
Cedarville, 28-31, ends its season as the G-MAC runner-up for the second consecutive year.
The Lady Jackets failed to solve TNU in six tries this season - all shutouts. In the final they came up with five singles.
Cedarville began the day with a 2-0 setback to Trevecca in the winners' bracket final despite outhitting the Trojans, 5-4.
Carlyn Hanzel tripled, but was stranded as one of four runners left on base in the game.
Freshman pitcher
Morgan Arbogast went the distance allowing one earned run with four strikeouts.
In the losers' bracket final, the Lady Jackets rallied to beat Kentucky Wesleyan, 5-4, on a walk-off in the bottom of the 7th inning.
Christina Kirkpatrick opened with a walk. One out later, she scored when
Danielle Wolgamot doubled to right field to end it.
KWC broke a scoreless tie with a grand slam in the top of the 5th. CU answered with four runs in the bottom half to tie it.
Brianne O'Dell had two hits with a double and two RBI's. Wolgamot, 5-2, was the winning pitcher by tossing a complete game with two strikeouts.
