David Ledbetter  is the Yellow Jackets’ top returning pitcher.....NCCAA All-America First Team choice.....repeat selection to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....posted a 7-3 record with one save as a sophomore with a 1.62 ERA.....appeared in 11 games with 10 starts and team-highs of six complete games and three shutouts in 66.2 innings.....spun a pair of complete-game no-hitters - 5-0 at Hiwassee and 16-0 at Salem International.....struck out 10 or more batters in a contest four times.....fanned a career-high 12 in an 11-1 win over Ohio Christian at Dayton’s Fifth Third Field.....averaged 10.40 strikeouts per 9 innings with opponents hitting at a slim .170 clip.....batted .238 as a DH with five doubles, three triples, 14 RBI’s, and 16 runs scored.

2011 - Produced an outstanding rookie campaign on the mound.....NCCAA All-America Second Team selection.....posted a 7-2 record with a 2.89 ERA.....struck out 55 batters in 53 innings pitched.....led the staff with six complete games.....NCCAA Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year.....voted to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team and the American Mideast Conference Second Team.....won his first four collegiate starts.....fanned eight batters in a complete-game 7-1 win over Malone.....struck out a season-high nine versus Walsh.....batted .348 at the plate.

High School - Played at Indiana baseball powerhouse Heritage Christian High School.....coached by former Yellow Jacket Dan Ambrose.....member of two-time IHSAA Class AA state championship squad.....high school teammate of current CU players Cam McWilliams and Chris Ward.....two-year letter winner in football and part of 2008 state title team.....previously attended Hamilton Southeastern High School.

Personal - Dean’s List student as an accounting and finance major at Cedarville University.....born 2/13/92 in Anderson, IN.....married wife, Elizabeth, on Dec. 28, 2012.....son of Ron and Sherrie Ledbetter.....twin brother, Ryan, is a junior pitcher with the Yellow Jackets.....also has a younger sister, Elizabeth.
