Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

David Lenhardt returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....voted to the G-MAC First Team.....started all 47 games and posted a .290 batting average.....totaled nine doubles, five triples, a home run, 28 RBI’s, and 33 runs scored.....ranked second on the club in total bases (75).....16 multi-hit games including five three-hit efforts.....drove in two or more runs eight times.....went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI’s, and two runs.....also stroked three hits against both Kentucky Wesleyan and Tiffin.....doubled and drove in three runs in a 9-0 win at Davis & Elkins.....begins the season ranked in the Top 10 of nine offensive categories on CU’s all-time list.

2014 - Repeat selection to the NCCAA All-American First Team.....NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....paced the club as a sophomore with a .364 batting average, 50 runs scored, and 40 walks.....added 16 doubles, 3 triples, 5 homers, and 46 RBI’s.....50 runs tied the CU single-season record.....played in all 58 games and batted clean-up in his 57 starts.....18 multi-hit games including a team-leading 10 outings of three or more hits.....tallied four hits in a 6-5 G-MAC win vs. Trevecca.....posted three-hit performances at the NCCAA National Tournament against Fresno Pacific and Toccoa Falls.....registered 11 games of at least two RBI’s.....produced three RBI’s in victories over Walsh and Ashland.

2013 - Ranked second with a .415 batting average during his first season at CU with team-highs of four home runs and 47 RBI’s.....NCCAA All-America First Team.....added 15 doubles, a triple, and a team-high nine steals.....played in 46 games with 44 starts at catcher, right field, and DH.....led the squad in slugging percentage (.612) and on base percentage (.500).....totaled 16 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI contests.....turned in two five-hit performances, a four-hit game, and four three-hit outings.....went 8-for-8 at the plate with a grand slam, four doubles, four runs, and four RBI's in a twinbill sweep at Urbana.....had five hits in an 11-8 victory over Ohio Christian.....went 3-for-4 vs. Oklahoma Christian at the NCCAA National Tournament.

High School - Four-year letter winner at Batavia High School.....three-time All-Southern Buckeye Athletic Conference First Team selection.....voted conference Player of the Year.....graduated with school records for single season home runs as well as career homers and batting average.....earned three letters in football.....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Transfer from Northern Kentucky University where he was a red shirt in 2012.....exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 5/9/93 in Cincinnati, Ohio.....son of Charlie and Kimberly Lenhardt.....younger brother, Austin, is a freshman baseball player at Cincinnati Christian.....has an older brother, another younger brother, and a younger sister.
