Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Kelsey Wilson is back for another season with the Lady Jackets following two outstanding seasons with the program.....is quickly on her way to becoming one of the best all-time softball players at Cedarville.....started all 58 games last spring including 47 in center field, seven at third base and four at shortstop.....led the team most every offensive category - batting average (.497), base hits (92), triples (5), home runs (4), RBI’s (46), total bases (129), slugging percentage (.697), on base percentage (.542) and stolen bases (35).....second on the squad with 15 doubles.....batted a team-best .538 with runners in scoring position.....led team with 33 multiple hit games and 13 multiple RBI games.....produced a team-best 16-game hitting streak during the 2012 campaign.....drove in a season-high six runs in a 17-2 five-inning win at Lake Erie.....blasted two home runs with a total of seven RBI’s in the doubleheader at Lake Erie.....her .497 batting average and .697 slugging percentage rank second all-time at CU for a single season.....Lady Jacket single season leader in runs (54), base hits (92), singles (68), total bases (129).....career leader with a .460 batting average (157-for-341) and a .636 slugging percentage.....second all-time with 102 runs, seven home runs, 87 RBI’s and 61 stolen bases.....National Christian College Athletic Association National Player of the Year.....NCCAA All-America First Team selection.....NCCAA Midwest Region and All-Tournament Team.....Ohio Independent Championship (OIC) First Team honoree.

2011 - Started all 51 games she appeared in during the season.....led team in hitting (.417), runs scored (48), slugging percentage (.564) and stolen bases (26).....registered second-best base hits (65), home runs (3), RBI’s (41) and total bases (88).....posted a season-high four hits in games against Clarke and Carlow.....48 runs and 41 RBI’s in a single season are second all-time at CU.....ranks third all-time with 65 hits and three HR’s in a season.....NCCAA All-America First Team selection.....NCCAA Midwest Region Team honoree.....member of American Mideast Conference First Team.....AMC Freshman of the Year.....AMC Freshmen Team recognition.

High School - Produced a four-sport career at University High School......four-year letter winner in softball.....all-state and all-conference performer.....voted Team MVP, Best Hitter and Best Defensive Player.....posted a .546 batting average as a senior.....earned two letters in tennis and one letter in basketball.....two-year volleyball participant.

Personal - Spanish and communications double major at Cedarville University.....born 6/25/91 in Bloomington, IL.....daughter of Jerry and Donna Wilson....has an older sister and two younger brothers.
