Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Joy Dice is in her fourth season with the Lady Jacket tennis program.....went 7-7 in singles action playing in the #2 and #3 positions.....recorded a 6-1, 6-1 decision at #3 singles as the Lady Jackets won at NCAA III Wittenberg by a 7-2 final.....posted a 6-2, 6-1 #3 singles victory as CU posted a 5-2 win over Spring Arbor in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region semifinals.....teamed with Brooke Johnson at #1 doubles for a 10-11 overall mark.....rallied for a 9-7 win at #1 doubles to help Cedarville to a 5-4 non-conference victory over visiting Bethel IN.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Academic Team.

2011-12 - Finished the 2011-12 season with a 12-10 singles record and a 17-10 mark in doubles action.....a 6-2, 6-0 #3 singles win and an 8-0 win at #2 doubles with partner Melissa Stoltzfus helped CU to a 5-4 fall victory at NCAA III Otterbein.....posted winning singles and doubles efforts in a 7-2 win over visiting Malone in the semifinals of the Ohio Independent Championship (OIC).....won singles matches in six consecutive spring season contests.....teamed with Melissa Stoltzfus at #2 doubles for a 9-7 verdict over Emmanuel at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.

2010-11 - Registered a successful rookie season with a 14-5 record in the #3 singles position.....combined with Melissa Stoltzfus at #2 doubles for a 10-5 mark.....also saw doubles action with Emma Rahn and Alison Scharold.....rallied to pull out a 1-6, 6-1, 10-7 result for CU’s lone tally in a loss at NCAA III Wittenberg.....produced points at both singles and doubles in a 5-4 loss to visiting Roberts Wesleyan in the semifinals of the American Mideast Conference Tournament.

High School - Homeschool graduate.....has extensive experience playing both the USTA and Wightman Cup.....played five years with USTA juniors.....attained a mid-50's ranking in the Midwest 18's group.....participated four years in junior Wightman Cup competition.

Personal - Psychology major at Cedarville University.....born 2/20/92 in Salem, IL.....daughter of James and Cindy Dice.....older brother, Dave, a 2004 graduate of Cedarville, was an NCCAA All-American with the Yellow Jacket tennis squad.....also has three other older brothers.
