Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Courtney Heydt is in her third campaign as a member of the Lady Jacket women’s tennis team.....transferred from Southern Union State Community College after her freshman year.....registered a 12-9 singles record and an 18-4 doubles tally last season.....posted victories in three of four matches at #3 singles during the annual spring break trip to Florida.....went 4-2 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matches.....notched a 7-1 record at #1 doubles and an 11-2 mark at #2 doubles with partner Lily Schuler.....captured doubles wins in seven consecutive matches to finish out the spring season.....won both doubles contests against Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins in the G-MAC Tournament.....G-MAC Second Team selection.

2012-13 - Posted an 18-5 singles mark and a 17-4 doubles record.....produced undefeated marks at #1 singles (2-0), #2 singles (4-0) and #4 singles (3-0).....registered 11 consecutive singles victories between March 5-April 25.....16 of her 18 singles wins were accomplished in straight sets.....posted a 6-3, 6-2 win at #5 singles to help CU to 5-2 win over Spring Arbor in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region semifinals.....produced a 7-5, 6-1 decision at #5 singles as CU recorded a 6-3 non-conference win at NCAA II Findlay.....combined with Lily Schuler for a 7-1 mark in the #2 doubles slot.....paired with Emma Rahn for an 8-6 #3 doubles win as CU recorded a 5-4 non-conference win at Huntington in the fall.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year.....G-MAC Team recognition.

High School - Four-year letter winner at Mason High School.....earned first team all-conference honors in doubles in 2011.....posted a 15-1 mark during the campaign.....advanced to a state qualifying match.....three-time winner of Tennis Coaches and Leadership Awards.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a middle childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 2/19/93 in Winter Haven, FL.....daughter of Mike and Beth Heydt.....younger sister, Kristen, is a sophomore member of the Lady Jacket tennis team.....also has another younger sister.
