Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Kristen Heydt is in her final season of collegiate tennis with the Lady Jackets.....will serve as a co-captain this year.....registered a 6-12 record in the #2 singles position.....went 3-2 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action.....teamed up with Lauren Jackson for a 17-4 record in the #1 doubles slot.....recorded a perfect 7-0 doubles tally in G-MAC play.....member of the G-MAC Academic Team.

2014-15 - Tallied a 12-6 singles record during the campaign - 11-3 at #4 and 1-3 at #5.....a 6-3, 6-3 win at #4 singles helped Cedarville to a 5-3 victory over Davis & Elkins in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) championship.....completed the season with 10 consecutive singles victories.....posted a perfect 6-0 singles mark and a 7-0 doubles tally in G-MAC action.....teamed with Maryssa Herbert to register a 14-9 doubles mark at #2 (12-5) and #3 (2-4).....paired with Herbert for an 8-4 win at #2 doubles in the G-MAC final over D&E.

2014 - Produced a 7-2 singles record and an 11-3 mark in doubles action.....undefeated in #3 singles (3-0) and #4 singles (2-0).....went 2-2 in the #6 singles slot.....first collegiate singles victory came in a 6-0, 6-0 match vs Miami-Middletown.....posted a 4-1 singles mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matches.....paired up with Maryssa Herbert for a 10-3 record in #2 and #3 doubles.....posted an 8-3 verdict in a win over Davis & Elkins in the G-MAC Tournament.

High School - Four-year letter winner at Mason High School.....earned the Coach’s Award as a freshman, junior and senior.....served as team captain during senior season.....recorded a 15-1 record in her final prep campaign.

Personal - Early childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 10/1/94 in Springfield, MA.....daughter of Mike and Beth Heydt.....older sister, Courtney, is a CU grad and was a three-year member of the tennis team as well as the 2013 G-MAC Tennis Player of the Year.....also has a younger sister, Kendall, who is a junior member of the Lady Jacket tennis program.
