Sarah Sheers starts her third campaign with the Lady Jacket volleyball program after playing her rookie season at NCAA Division I University of Toledo....expected to lead the CU offense from the setter position.....co-captain on 2008 squad.....only player to participate in all 39 matches and all 143 games last fall.....led squad with 59 service aces.....posted a third-best 368 digs (2.57 per game).....added 266 assists and six blocks.....produced a .903 serving percentage with a third-high 619 attempts.....registered a career-high 20 digs against Palm Beach Atlantic at the NCCAA National Tournament.....recorded double figures in digs in 18 other matches.....drilled six service aces against both Edinboro and Walsh.....put up 29 assists in an early-season AMC win over Shawnee State.....named to the Grace Classic All-Tournament Team.

2006 - Played in 36 matches and 103 games.....fifth on the squad with 179 digs....produced a sixth-best 35 service aces.....registered a season-high 14 digs in two separate matches - against Rio Grande in an AMC South regular-season contest and in a win over Walsh in the NAIA Region IX-X Tournament Championship.....tallied double figures in digs on five other occasions..... posted a team season-high of nine service aces against Central State.

2005 - Appeared in 12 matches including six starts and 30 games for the Rockets..... totalled 206 assists (6.87 per game) while recording 58 digs.....helped Toledo to an 18-13 overall record including a 9-7 mark and a fifth-place finish in the Mid-American Conference....team advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament....earned the Coach’s Award for her freshman season at Toledo.
