Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Austin Foote is back for his fourth season as a shooting guard for the Yellow Jackets.....begins the campaign with 921 career points.....started all 29 games in which he played as a junior.....ranked second on the club with 13.0 points per game.....netted a team-high 59 three-pointers while shooting 39.6 percent from behind the arc.....87.3 accuracy at the stripe.....had a season-high 23 points in a 96-87 win at Central State.....scored in double figures 24 times including his last 14 games in a row.....NCCAA National All-Tournament Team.....voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team and the All-Ohio Independent Championship Second Team.

2010-11 - Appeared in 23 games with 16 starts as a sophomore.....labored through an injury-plagued season but still averaged 10.1 points per game.....rated second on the squad with 43 three-point baskets.....scored in double figures 11 times.....tallied 23 points at Point Park.....pumped in 21 more at home against Point Park and had 20 in a win at Mount Vernon Nazarene.

2009-10 - Produced an outstanding initial season after sitting out the 2008-09 campaign as a red shirt.....appeared in all 35 games off the bench averaging 8.9 points.....led the American Mideast Conference with a .453 three-point accuracy and ranked third in the country in NAIA Division II.....shot .793 at the charity stripe.....scored in double figures 17 times.....poured in a season-high 24 points in an 84-67 AMC victory at Point Park.....netted 23 points with season-highs of nine rebounds and four assists in CU’s record-setting 157-91 win at Rio Grande.....tallied 22 points in a 92-79 decision against Mount Vernon Nazarene.....contributed 11 points in both games the Jackets played at the NAIA Division II National Tournament.

High School - Prepped at ThunderRidge High School.....averaged a team-high 15 points per game for state runner-up team as a senior.....shot 49 percent outside the three-point arc.....recognized as all-state honorable mention.....all-conference first team honoree.....selected Team MVP.....received Outstanding Academic Athlete letter.

Personal - Comprehensive communications major at Cedarville University.....born 3/26/90 in Fort Wayne, IN.....son of David and Amy Foote.....younger brother, Jonny, is a redshirt freshman with the Yellow Jackets.....also has one older brother, one older sister, a younger sister, and another younger brother.
