Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Hannah Velloney is in her third year of action with the Lady Jacket soccer squad.....will serve as one of three captains this fall.....sat out the 2015 season due to injury.

2014 - One of three Lady Jackets to start all 19 contests.....registered two goals and one assist for five points.....scored the lone CU goal in a 2-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) at Trevecca.....headed in a corner kick as Cedarville defeated Oakland City 6-1 in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region semifinal game played at Wright State University.....only assist of the year was on the game-winning goal over visiting G-MAC foe Kentucky Wesleyan.....all six shots during the campaign were on goal (1.000).....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013 - One of seven players to start all 22 matches.....scored two goals and tallied one assist for five points.....tied for seventh on the squad in scoring.....produced her first collegiate goal in the second game of the year - a 4-0 non-conference verdict at Urbana.....drilled home the game-winner from a corner kick with assists by Jacoby Ziegler and Grace Miorelli in a 4-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference win at Trevecca Nazarene.....notched lone assist of the season on a goal by Carly Gregory in CU’s 4-0 victory against visiting Oakland City in the National Christian College Athletic Association Midwest Regional.

High School - Four-sport athlete at Greenbrier Christian Academy.....five-year starter in soccer.....two-time Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association All-State Team.....three-time All-Tidewater Conference First Team member.....two-time Team MVP and Most Outstanding Offensive Player.....scored 45 goals while adding 26 assists during prep career at Greenbrier Christian.....two-year team captain.....experience with Virginia Rush Nike club program.....member of the 2013 All-Rush National Team.....member of the Virginia State ODP team in 2010-11.....earned two letters in basketball and track & field.....also earned a letter in cross country.....class Salutatorian.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as a life science education major at Cedarville University.....born 7/11/95 in Auerbach, Germany.....daughter of Rev. David and Felicia Velloney.....older sister, Michaela, was a member of the soccer (2012) and track & field (2012-15) teams at Grove City College.....younger sister, Bex, is a freshman member of the Lady Jacket soccer team.
