Mary Kearney is a fourth-year distance runner at Cedarville.....ran in just three meets as a junior.....posted a 20:16 in the 5K at the Friendship Invitational.....opened the season at the Queen City 6K Invitational at 24:29.....competed in the 5K during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2014 - Saw limited action as a sophomore in three meets.....placed 22nd in the G-MAC Championship in 24:27 for the 6K.....posted a 5K time of 20:30 to finish 22nd in the Cedarville Open.....distance runner during the track & field season.....G-MAC Indoor Second Team as the 5,000 meter runner-up.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2013 - Participated in five varsity meets as a freshman and finished among the team’s top seven four times.....best 6K mark was 25:38 in the Friendship Invitational.....competed in the distance events on the track team.
High School - Participated in cross country four years at Marquette High School.....earned the team’s Most Improved Runner Award.....competed three seasons in track & field and two years in basketball.....graduated with academic honors.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as an electrical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/21/94 in Richmond, VA.....daughter of David and Gayle Kearney.....has two older brothers.
