Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jordan Reese is back for his fourth and final season on the links with the Yellow Jackets.....NCCAA All-American after tying for ninth place at the NCCAA Championship at 72-75-82-229.....voted the 2016-17 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Golfer of the Year.....ranked second on the team averaging 74.96 strokes per 18 holes.....carded seven rounds of par or better.....earned G-MAC First Team honors upon tying for fifth place in the conference tournament with 74-73-79-226.....G-MAC Fall Invitational medalist with 71-69-140 (-4) for his career-best 36-hole score.....NCCAA Midwest Regional runner-up featuring a career-low round of 68-73-141 (-3).....unofficially tied the school record with a 67 (-5) in the second round of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional #4 at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, IN, however, the round was washed out when half the field was unable to complete its final 18 holes.

2015-16 - Returned to the program after sitting out the 2014-15 season.....ranked #2 on the team with a scoring average of 77.87 strokes per 18 holes.....shot his season-low 18 and tied for medalist honors at the G-MAC Championship with 73-73-74-220....tied for eighth in the NCCAA Midwest Regional with 78-74-152.....tied for 14th at the Malone Fall Classic with 77-74-151.....voted to the G-MAC Team.

2013-14 - Led the squad as a freshman by averaging 77.0.....Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational medalist with 75-70-145 (+1) at Greene Country Club.....matched his season-low 18 with 70-76-75-221 at the NCCAA Championship to tie for 20th place.....tied for 8th at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional #4 with 72-77-149.....voted to the G-MAC Team.

High School - Recognized as one of the best golfers to ever come out of Cedarville High School.....program’s #1 player all four years as an Indian.....earned all-state honors as a junior when he placed 7th in the Ohio Division III Championship.....two-time Ohio Heritage Conference Player of the Year and a four-time All-OHC first team honoree......averaged 36.5 strokes per 9 holes as a senior and 37.8 as a junior.....fired a career-best 68 in the OHC Tournament as a freshman and twice won the Middletown Christian Invitational.....earned medalist honors as a senior with a 69 in the Fairbanks High School Panther Invitational.....garnered runner-up honors with a 69 in the Northridge High School Classic.....lowest 9-hole score was 31.....qualified for the 2010 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at PGA National in West Palm Beach, FL.

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 6/22/94 in Cincinnati, OH.....son of Chris and Cheryl Reese.....father was a four-year basketball player for the Yellow Jackets.....younger sister, Nicole, is a sophomore at the University.
