Biography
Jared Gerber is a four-year member of the Yellow Jacket tennis program.....will serve as captain of the 2013-14 squad.....registered an 11-10 singles record as a junior in the #5 and #6 positions.....tallied an 11-12 mark at #2 doubles with Quinton Paul.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2011-12 - Used primarily in doubles as a sophomore where he was 12-7 overall.....posted an 11-5 mark at the #2 position with Bobby Eberhard.....won the only singles match in which he played.
2010-11 - Won his only singles appearance as a rookie.....tallied a 5-6 record in doubles.
High School - Four-year letter winner in tennis at Pella High School.....two-time state qualifier in doubles.....three-time conference flight doubles champion.....ran three seasons of cross country.....played two seasons of basketball, took part in one year of track & field with a letter, and participated in football one season.....Des Moines Register Academic All-State.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an allied health major at Cedarville University.....born 11/13/91 in Pella, IA.....son of Lonnie and Joleen Gerber.....older brother, Justin, was a four-year distance runner for the Yellow Jackets.....also has two older sisters and a younger sister.
